City of Los Angeles List of Communities and Neighborhoods 2024

Both the City of LA and County of Los Angeles have offered 1% down payment assistance programs to first time home buyers for the past several years.  Surprisingly though, many first time buyers are confused as to which properties actually fall under the City of Los Angeles and County of Los Angeles boundaries.  In addition to that, some 1st time home buyers using the City of LA LIPA program have mistakenly eliminated their favorite areas from their home search believing them to be cities outside of the City of LA when using the buyer program.  

HOW TO FIND OUT IF A PROPERTY IS UNDER CITY OF LA OR COUNTY OF LA - FIND BY ADDRESS:  Type in the address you want to confirm is in the city of Los Angeles, or the unincorporated areas considered "County of LA"
